Straight answers. If it's not here, email us and we'll answer it — and add it.

Getting started

How your crew logs in. You pick a short company code when you sign up — ACME, say. Your crew types that code once on their phone, taps their name off the list, and enters their own 6-digit PIN. The phone remembers the code, so after the first morning it's just name + PIN.

Somebody forgot their PIN. Two ways. You reset it from Crew → Team, or they tap "Forgot PIN?" on the PIN screen and we text them a 6-digit code — that only works if their phone number is on their profile.

Adding your crew. Crew → Team → + Add Worker: add each person with a name, role (Owner, Manager, Estimator, Worker) and their own PIN. Crew and Business plans include unlimited logins.

The 60-second tour. The first time you open the app on a phone you'll get a short tour of where everything is. Replay it any time from More → Help & FAQ, which also has these answers inside the app, offline.

Measuring

How Measure works. Open Measure, search the address, tap + Area and tap each corner of the driveway or lot. You get square feet and an asphalt tonnage estimate; + Line measures linear feet for curb, cracks or striping. Once your prices are set it shows a dollar estimate, and "Use in New Estimate" puts it on a bid. Measure comes with the Crew and Business plans.

Which aerial photos. Every company gets free USGS aerial photos (public U.S. government imagery). Add an Esri imagery key in Settings → Map / Imagery for sharper Esri satellite imagery. Aerial photos can be months or years old, so look at the site before you bid.

Out in the field

Working with no signal. Everything works offline — including signing in. Once a person has signed in on a phone with service, that phone remembers the name list and checks their PIN itself, so they can log in from a dead zone; the real sign-in finishes on its own when signal comes back. The app itself is stored on the phone, so it opens in a dead zone. Estimates, time punches, field reports and job updates save on the device and upload themselves the second you're back in coverage. Photos queue separately and go up when the signal comes back. You'll see an offline banner while you're out of range so you know it's saving, not losing.

Updates. When a new version lands you get a small "App updated — reload to get the latest" note. It never reloads on you mid-entry.

Estimates and getting paid

Send an estimate. Build it, hit Send, and the customer gets a link to a clean page with your company name and logo on it. They can approve it right there — no printing, no PDF attachment nobody opens.

Smart Price: what to charge. In Settings → Smart Price, import your Invoice Simple history (CSV). The file is read on your phone and only your price averages per job type are saved, never customer names or addresses. On a New Estimate, pick the job type and square footage and tap Low, Usual or High. Your usual is what you've won jobs at, and small jobs price higher per square foot. That adds a priced line with standard wording. Before you import, it uses your default rates from Settings → Pricing & Tax.

Invoices. Same idea: the customer gets a page with the line items and every way you've told us you take money — card link, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or a check made out to whoever you say. Set those once in Settings → How Customers Can Pay.

Deposits. On an invoice, tap Request Deposit, set the percent (40% to start) and text it to the customer. To take card and bank payments on the customer's link, set up Settings → Take Card & Bank Payments In-App; the money goes to your own account.

Job updates for the customer. Send them a project link and they see status, photos and the balance without calling you.

SealCycle

What it is. Sealcoating is repeat money and everybody forgets it. PaveHub remembers. Pave a driveway and it puts the first seal on the calendar 6 months out. Seal one and the next one goes 24 months out. Every morning it texts you the list of driveways due — one message, not fifty. Turn it off per company in Settings.

Your data is yours. Export all your data from Settings any time, during or after a subscription — one file with everything, plus CSV exports of invoices, estimates and payroll hours. Delete the whole company and it's purged after a 30-day grace period you can cancel.
